I have been using Cards, Cars, and Currency for 3 years now! It is one of the best set of lessons I have found that allows students to see for themselves the true cost involved with credit cards and buying a car. This unit provides you with EVERYTHING you need to teach it. It has a lot of hands-on activities for the students, and the pretest/post-test "keep the currency" game is always a popular and fun activity. In fact, my head administrator came into my room to see what we were doing (the game can be noisy) and he liked it so much that at the next staff meeting we had, we played (his on version) a couple of rounds of the game. Download this curriculum and use it, adapt it to meet your needs. You are gonna love this resource, I know I do and so do my students.
good for practical application
Provides opportunity to think about credit!
